Lunéville Hook Thread Embroidery Course
Do you love embroidery and would like to explore a new way of working with thread?
When we think of Lunéville embroidery, we often think of beads and sequins.
But the Lunéville hook can also be used with thread alone.
In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of thread embroidery step by step, practise different techniques, and create your own embroidered pieces.
Online course

Learn. Practise. Create.
Start with the Lunéville hook and discover new possibilities in thread embroidery.
🤔 What will you learn?
From the first stitch to creating your own pieces.
You will learn to:
-
Use the Lunéville hook correctly
-
Develop control of the hook and thread while embroidering
-
Practise the basic stitches and movements of thread embroidery
-
Adapt the direction of the stitches to the shape and contours of the design
-
Apply different embroidery techniques to different shapes and designs
-
Apply what you have learned to new projects
The goal is not simply to complete the designs in the course.
It is to help you progress from:
“I don’t know how to use a Lunéville hook.”
to:
“I can embroider with a Lunéville hook.”
and then:
“I can use this technique in new projects.”

The "Fruits" Are Only the Beginning.
Your next project could be your own.

🌎 Note about the translated versions
The teaching language of this course is English.
The translated versions of the Basic Course use AI-powered translation and voice technology.
As the lessons combine spoken explanations with visual demonstrations, there may be small differences in wording compared with the original version. The techniques and movements are demonstrated visually, allowing you to follow each step while practising.
PART 2|Practical Course

After learning the fundamentals, it is time to put them into practice.
🧵 5 complete fruit projects
🎥 Approximately 6 hours of video
🍓 Each project is demonstrated from beginning to end
✋ Practise along with me using your own materials
The projects are designed to help you apply, step by step, the techniques learned in the Basic Course.
The videos in this section do not include spoken explanations.
The movements, stitch directions, and each stage of the process are demonstrated directly in the video, so you can follow along and practise with me.

🎁 BONUS|4 New Designs to Explore

After completing the Basic Course and the 5 fruit projects, you will receive a PDF with 4 vegetable designs and their corresponding instructions.
This material is designed to help you put what you have learned into practice and begin working with greater independence, without needing to follow every step through a video.
Move from following a model to applying the techniques on your own — and start taking your Lunéville embroidery skills into new motifs and projects.

🤔 What will you be able to do after the course?
The course ends. The technique stays with you.
Learning the technique is only the beginning.
01|Practise 5 fruit projects to put the fundamentals into practice.
02|Apply 4 vegetable designs to begin working with less guidance.
03|Continue
Take the techniques you have learned into new designs and projects.
More than completing 9 projects, you will be building a foundation that allows you to continue embroidering independently.

For me, teaching is not simply about showing students the techniques I know. More importantly, it is about helping them truly understand each step and gradually develop their own skills through practice.
That is why my courses focus on clear explanations, progressive learning, and practice. My aim is not only for students to complete the projects proposed in the course, but to truly understand the techniques they have learned and continue applying them in their own embroidery practice.
My goal is not simply to teach you how to complete a project, but to make each learning experience a foundation for continuing to learn and practise.
